Best news evar.
Second best news evar: Their replacements are Chris Taylor and Craig Reucassel, the two blokes who anchor [and co-write] CNNNN.

Charlie Pickering is actually quite funny by himself as a stand-up act, but agreed, he's fucking shithouse on Triple J, and Mel's got nothing too. Chris Taylor and Craig Reucassel will be interesting. Hopefully they can do great things.
Adam and Will have my ultimate respect though. Fuck are they hilarious when they get going on something.

Adam and Will are damn good, but they don't come anywhere near the best line-up JJJ breakfast has ever had, namely: Mikey Robins, Paul McDermott with guest appearances from The Sandman and Flaco. They actually made me want to get up and listen to them they were that good.
Charlie and Mel are shitful, can't stand them at all. I quite liked Merrick and Rosso, they weren't that great at adlib humour but their scripted segments (eg, Choice Bro Tafe) and their user-feedback segments (Tightarse Tuesday) were awesome.

Maynard was before my time, but how you can say Robins is shit I'll never know. That guy is a fucking smart cookie and knows how to deliver some very witty comedy.

Did you watch Good News Week? He was fucking awesome on that show. In fact, thinking back now, I'd rate "Good News Week" (before it got sold to channel 10 and went to utter shit) as one of the best shows of the 90's.

The show was great when he wasn't talking.
"Look at me everyone, I said something funny! Wasn't it hilarious? Aren't I great?"
Fuckstick.

Dude, he didn't behave like that at all. If anything I would have said he was reasonably humble about his jokes most of the time. Paul McDermott is the narcicist of the duo, but he plays it so fucking well I love it

Humble, bollocks. I've never seen anyone expect a laugh so obviously. He'd actually stop and look around to see who was laughing.

Whilst talking about radio teams, you can't go past Ross & John on 3AW... funniest shit you'll ever hear ever. Terribly clever, and you'll be guaranteed to be LYAO

Yay! It's about time they got rid of them. Too little, too late for me though. I flip around these days like nobody's business.
I've started basing myself around The Cage on Triple M in the mornings, with my 10 stacker loaded up to the hilt. They can be pretty funny most of the time, but as soon as they stop talking, or go to an adbreak, I go straight to a CD, or change back for some Adam & Wil. The amount of advertising on Triple M is just rediculous. I don't need to be subjected to that crap.
But I've got to say, Adam & Wil don't seem as funny as they used to... maybe I'm becoming immune to Wil's dribble? I'm finding lately he's just sounding annoying and predictable. Bit like Triple J all-round, actually. They're sounding very stale now according to the old days.
But again, thank fuck someone woke up to Mel and Charlie. There's only so many 'something funny happened to me on the way to work today' talkbacks you can do before people start realising you got nothin.

I bet you've never listened to 'em... fucking brilliant radio. I quickly turn off once the 'normal' talkback radio starts happening, though.

I'm legally prohibited listening to 3AW, because I don't have one of these on my arm:
