A really gross pigeon story

Had to share this little gem with everyone: One of my mates has moved to the UK to live. He was waiting for a tram and there was a pigeon walking around on the tracks. Somehow it didn't hear the tram coming and managed to get the back half of it pinned under the tram wheels as it came over. Everyone waiting for the tram simultaneously gave an "Awwwwww gross, poor thing," as this bird flapped around trying to escape. It managed to get free and somehow had the strength to fly up to a nearby lamp post. Everyone was like "Well phew, thank god that's over," but almost immediately after landing on the lamp post... THE ENTIRE GUTS OF THE PIGEON fall out of its rear onto the ground, and the pigeon falls to the ground next to it dead. How fucking gross is that? Pretty gross. I told you it was a gross story. |

Herald Sun gets into the spirit of April Fools' Day

My local esteemed Murdoch tabloid has gone all out this year:
- It calls itself a "quality newspaper"
- Peter Costello is on the front, smiling
- Kerry Kulkens is on page 8 pretending to be alive
- Something good is said about a Labor politician on page 19
- There's some actual news on page 35
- Safeway claims to sell, and I quote: "fresh food"
Madness.
