All About Miles  To give you a brief idea of who I am - I was born in Hawaii, USA in 1980, before moving to Australia when I just a wee little tyke, which is where I grew up. At the moment I live in Melbourne, Victoria with Michael and another friend - oh yeah, I'm nerdy enough to run a website with my housemate and my brother. Tim is my identical twin, so I have a doppelgänger of me running around in another state. I just finished a Computer Engineering degree at the University of Melbourne. I also finished a diploma of modern languages in German. I drive a hail and fist damaged poofmobile (i.e. an Excel). My hobbies include procrastination, watching DVDs, buying consoles I'll never play, getting drunk and dancing like a fool, and when the mood strikes me, professing my undying love for the band at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow. I can't live without music and have a shrine to Jeff Buckley. I also snowboard whenever I can.
I can program C, C++ and Java. Try as I might, I can't use Linux. I absolutely loved my Computer Engineering degree, and now I work as a software developer writing nerdy financial applications. |
